About

Inspiration, resilience and honor swirl about the pixelated grandeur of Catalyst Valley. Some come to learn, others just to look. All are welcome to explore a place where photography, travel, food, great organic coffee, and vibrant health are celebrated. Luckily, it's an informal place so don't mind all the low-fi pix scattered about.

» PāNu Blog

If Catalyst Valley only had a single site for those curious about improving their health, this would be the place to start. Short for Paleolithic Nutrition, the PāNu blog is a fabulous distillation of dietary advice dedicated to, as Dr. Harris says it, “duplicating the evolutionary metabolic milieu.” Born of inspiration, he wrote this:

“When I saw a video presentation of Gary Taubes speaking out west, he was asked what he really wanted. He said that he really wanted medical doctors who were convinced of the truth in Good Calories Bad Calories to work to change things.
I am a medical doctor so here I am.”

By our measure, that’s the stuff from which great blogs stem. And it appears he’s just getting started.
